Biyela Attorneys Incorporated is a black owned and managed boutique law firm embodying and embracing the ideals of a democratic South Africa. Biyela can itself be classified as a SME, which is regulated by a code of ethics that is applicable to attorneys in terms of the Legal Practice Act of 2014, whose rules are enforced by the KwaZulu Natal Legal Practice Council (the “Law Society”), whenever there is a reported transgression by its attorney members. Our conduct and services rendered are in line with the rules of the Law Society.

The firms founding director, Mfanafuthi Biyela, is not only an attorney but he has worked for a number of years for a New York Stock Exchange listed Construction Advisory International firm as a Specialist Construction Claims Consultant where he drew on some of the technical knowledge to offer sound advice to the construction and engineering sectors.
